Dr. Salouti was awarded first place by the Board of Ophthalmology of Iran in 1994 and was awarded the Gold Medal and first place in International Ophthalmology at the University of Cambridge.
Among his accomplishments:
Founder of modern cataract surgery in Fars province in 1991.
Founder of deep corneal transplant surgery in Iran in 2002.
Founder of corneal transplantation with LASIK and without stitches in 2009.
