Sperm Freezing in Iran
It has been years now since freezing sperms in Iran have helped many to retain their fertility for a longer period. There are many reasons for which men might tend to freezing sperm technique. Egg freezing in Iran

Embryo freezing
During the IVF, if the number of embryos obtained is greater than the number of embryos transferred, the supernumerary embryos can be frozen; provided they are healthy and of very good quality.
Previously, all embryos developed during IVF had to be immediately implanted in the mother’s uterus. The new law of Freeze Egg Sperm and Embryo allows only one to be implanted and the others to be frozen. It consists of immersing the embryos in liquid nitrogen at -196 °C. The temperature drop is extremely rapid and makes it possible to obtain an almost instantaneous vitreous state of the embryos. Thus preserved, the embryos can be transferred later into the uterus, without having to go through the stages of egg retrieval and fertilization again.
In any case, a new IVF attempt will not be made as long as there are frozen embryos left.
Why are surplus embryos created?
IVF and related treatments normally involve stimulation of the ovaries to produce a number of eggs. We aim to fertilise all of the eggs removed via Freeze Egg Sperm and Embryo method in order to have a selection of embryos to grow, as not all embryos have the potential to develop. As they are growing we are able to select the best quality for replacement. In many cycles more embryos than the one or two necessary for replacement are of good quality, and have the potential to survive freezing and be viable once they are thawed. If we place these embryos in storage this provides another possibility of pregnancy without having to repeat the process of ovarian stimulation.
