Treatment with Targeted Medicines:

Targeted cancer medicines, designed to impede cancer growth, may be combined with chemotherapy for treating advanced stomach cancer.

Management of Incurable Cancer:

In instances of advanced stomach cancer where a cure may not be achievable, the treatment goal is to restrain cancer and alleviate symptoms, thereby extending life expectancy. Receiving such news can be emotionally challenging. In such cases, a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, known as the palliative care team or symptom control team, will be engaged. They collaborate to effectively manage symptoms, enhance comfort, and provide support to both the individual and their loved ones, including assistance in accessing additional support services.
